Dr. St. John is a native Houstonian. She attended Rice University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. She completed her doctorate in medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where, during her clinical rotations, she developed an interest in psychiatry. Dr. St. John went on to complete her residency in General Psychiatry at the UT-Health Science Center where she also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. St. John is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and an elected fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. St. John has been in private practice since 2006. She treats adults, ages 18 and up, for a broad range of disorders including: ADHD, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, major depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and OCD.
Dr. St. John has also been performing Neurostar TMS Therapy for patients with treatment resistant depression in her office since 2013.
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Grizzaffi (Liz) is a native Houstonian and grew up in the Cy-Fair area. She received a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary of the Woods in 2000. Mrs. Grizzaffi went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy in 2007 and then earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2010. She has previous experience in Primary Care, Endocrinology, Allergy and Asthma. She is nationally board-certified with National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed in Texas. She joined Martha St. John, MD, PA in September 2016. Her interests in Psychiatry include: ADHD, anxiety disorders and eating disorders.
